HOW TO ENABLE DEVELOPER OPTIONS / USB DEBUGGING IN ANDROID 4.2 AND HIGHER

Developer options are specially designed for the developers and also for the people who are willing to make any changes in their android phones.
This also includes rooting your android device. Enabling or activating the developer mode lets you make changes in your android phones like enabling USB debugging mode.
The developer options used to be visible to every Android user until Google launched Android 4.2.
In this version (and higher versions) of android, Google hid the developer options. There is no technical reason behind this.
It is all about change. Moreover, hidden ‘developer options’ also protects a naive android user from changing the settings that you wouldn’t want to change.
