How to Know/Check If your Android Phone/Tablet is Properly Rooted

If you have just rooted your device or if you have just bought a second-hand smartphone and you have no clue whether it has proper root-access or not,
you might want to confirm it.
Fortunately, there’s a number of ways you can check if your Android phone is rooted.
Installing the Root Checker app from Google Play

One of the simplest ways to check root-access is to install the Root Checker app from Google Play.The app is available for free and won’t take more than a couple of seconds to download on your device.
You can search for the app in your Google Play or use the web link if you prefer to get it that way. Both will do the same thing.

By now the app is installed on your device and you are good to go check out your root-status.Open the App Drawer on your device by hitting the Menu button.

Usually the last screen of your device will have the icon of the app you just installed.So keep swiping through screens until you reach the last screen and then tap on the Root Checker Basic icon. The app will launch.

The first time you open the app it will ask you to agree with their disclaimer. Hit the Agree button and it will let you go ahead.

You should see a large Verify Root Access button in the middle of the screen. Tap on it and it will check if your device is properly rooted.

The next screen asks you to grant SuperSU permission so it can perform the check. Tap the Grant button and let it do its work.

If your device is properly rooted, it should show a success message saying that your device has root access.Conclusion:
